Just as I promised: The second part of the story of my 2012 journey is here! Enjoy!
Summer could not come any sooner. From weddings to job searches, it was another season of change and adventures.
Seven is the number of weddings I attended last year (more than the number attended in my lifetime). Each one full of charm and joy, I now either wanted one to have of my own or wanted to never have one of my own.
1 Daniel and Claudia 2 Victor and Noemi 3 Erik & Sarai 4 Salvador & Marcela 5 Jay & Lisette 6 Israel & Jessica—This was one of my favorite weddings of all time! One of my best friends got married in 2012. She truly got the wedding of her dreams. I loved being a part of this wedding because of how unique and full of excitement. I was both ecstatic and sad due to the fact that getting married also meant moving to another state. Regardless of its bittersweet taste, it convinced me that having a wedding is worth it despite the stress–
After months of searching, I acquired a job at a laboratory full of great people.
With that came the opportunity for growth and influence within the team. Ecstatic does not begin to describe how I felt when I got the call from my future manager. I received opportunities that
I never dreamed of having, and I took them knowing how rarely I would get these in life. There is not a day that goes by in which I am not grateful for the job I received during the summer. Summer ended a great season in which I lived life to the fullest.
More to come soon!!! Have a great week, bloggers… Recuperate that lost hour of sleep! 🙂
